songs...

So i just scanned my computer and notebook, and found all the songs i have written. By God's grace! Songwriting was once an impossibility for me. Then the Lord worked in me. And kinda broke me about it. That opened the floodgates...
In any regard, it was nice to go back and look over some of those songs. Many of them were pretty darn personal, and it was so sweet remember how the Lord met me during the writing process. But more than that, it was sweet to look back at all those songs, those personal-based-on-experience songs, and remember the Lord's faithfulness in those situations, His guidance, love, and provision. How in those times i had no idea whatsoever of the end of things, of what would come with such seemingly hopeless situations. It's kinda funny to remember the stress and confusion, and look back now and see His plan in it all. What a great God we serve! He who has saved us by grace, justified us, and is sanctifying us. He who has prepared good works beforehand for us to walk in. He who works all things for good. He who knows the end from the beginning. He who sits on the throne!

"My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer."
~ Psalm 45:1

"I will remember the deeds of the LORD;
yes, i will remember Your wonders of old.
I will ponder all Your work,
and meditate on Your mighty deeds.
Your way, O God, is holy.
What god is great like our God?
You are the God who works wonders;
You have made known Your might among the peoples.
You with Your arm redeemed You people,
the children of Jacob and Joseph. Selah"
~ Psalm 77:11-15

I will raise my Ebenezer, and remember that You are Jehovah Jireh!
